Accessibility statement for Islington Adult Community Learning website
This statement applies to content published on the Islington Adult Community Learning website.
This website is run by Monterpoint Webenrol on behalf of Islington Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this site. You should be able to:
- Change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard or speech recognition software
- Listen to most of the website using a screen reader
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:
- A small amount of content is not visible when viewed on a 320px width screen without horizontal scrolling. This could make viewing parts of the site awkward for mobile phone users and partially sighted users using very high degrees of browser zoom. However, it is not believed that this will prevent users from accessing the site.
- There is one known instance where the keyboard focus indicator is not visible. This can make site navigation difficult for keyboard only users or users who prefer to navigate using the keyboard. Experienced users are likely to be able to infer the position of the keyboard focus indicator from the presence of the keyboard focus indicator on the surrounding controls.
