October Learning Week
Adult and Community Learning are offering 4 workshops during half term, come along and update your Maths or English skills.
Making Every Penny Count
An introduction to managing money using maths skills. We’ll look at understanding pay slips, work out the cost of a loan and how to avoid getting into debt.
DIY with Maths
How to use easy maths to save money and get home DIY jobs done quickly and more accurately. We’ll cover measuring walls and floors for tiles, carpets and wallpaper and how to buy enough to cover the space.
Pronunciation and Conversation
Improve your English pronunciation skills and make your communication more accurate. Practise English sounds and stresses and learn about other learners’ accents.
Playing with Poetry
Find out how to create poetry easily using techniques that can be used by anyone! Discover flash fiction, micro poetry & black-out poetry and create your own contemporary poems. Suitable for all poets, from absolute beginners.

September enrolment days
Come along and enrol onto a course between Tuesday 10th and Friday 13th September between 9.30am – 4pm at either Arsenal Learning Centre or First Steps Learning Centre. We have a number of free courses on offer in English, Maths, ESOL, as well as Digital and Preparing for Work courses at various levels.

ACL Open day
On Monday 22nd July 2019 we are holding an ACL enrolment day where you can come along to our friendly learning centre and sign up for our new courses, take an English, Maths, Digital Skills, or ESOL assessment and even talk to one of our friendly tutors to discuss which course is right for you.

Are you interested in an ESOL, English or Maths courses? Adult and Community Learning are now offering weekly initial assessments, we recommend you book you place to avoid disappointment. Initial assessments take place every Monday at First Steps Learning Centre, from either 1-2pm or 2-3pm. To book your place call 020 7527 7002
